Digital Champions Program at a Financial Consulting Company using ONA
The goal was to transform the company into a digital enterprise that reacts to the changing needs of customers by effective delivery of services and automated processes. This required not only new competencies and skills from people, but a new mindset on digital innovation.
With Maven7's OrgMapper Influence first they identified influencers throughout the organization. The influencers with most connections and activity in the organization became “the Digital Champions”, helping to make the digital transformation successful. Their role was to acquire new skills and knowledge in digital technologies and innovation and to spread this knowledge and the new mindset throughout the organization.
Over 400 influencers were identified who were involved in Digital Champions programs. The Digital Champions became knowledge hubs and sparks for innovation breaking down silos between different business units. On average, with just 4% of influencers identified by ONA, 70% of employees can effectively be reached!
Classroom and virtual training on new technologies, frameworks and solutions were held. Innovative projects were initiated and teams were set up to work on Enterprise applications for better customer experience and automation. This required not only new competencies and skills from people, but a new mindset on digital innovation.
